When it comes to flawless lash application, it definitely takes a bit of practice to master the art. And if you couldn’t tell, falsies are our absolute favourite thing, so we wanted to give those of you who are new to the lash game a quick and easy fool-proof guide on how to apply your lashes. Let's get started!

Step 1: Curl your natural lashes. This will help ensure that your natural lashes don’t stick straight out from under the false lashes.

Step 2: Add a layer of mascara. This will help darken your natural lashes to match your falsies and will make them look more seamless together. Adding mascara to your bottom lashes will also create more balance as well.

Note: Our lashes offer a C curl, where most falsies offer more of a D or L curl, which is often more dramatic (See image below).

The curl impacts how the lashes look straight on and from the side. C curls are much more natural and mimic the way our natural lashes actually look.

Step 3: Apply Lash Glue to the band of your false lashes. It’s important that you let the glue get a bit tacky (about 15 seconds) before applying. If you don’t wait for them to get tacky, they could end up sliding around and having a hard time sticking down. We’d also recommend using a Lash Applicator for a seamless application.

Step 4: Squeeze false lashes to the base of your lash line. This way if there’s a thick band, it will give an eyeliner effect, and you will avoid getting that visible strip of skin between your lash line and the false lashes.

Step 5: Tightline! Using your preferred eyeliner (pencil works best), fill in any spots where skin might peek through. This gives the appearance of a fuller lash. 

Now the next step for choosing and applying your lashes is to make sure to match the style of your lashes to the style of your makeup. Of course, for a more natural base, we’d recommend a more Natural Lash for a cohesive everyday look. This way the lashes will get their moment to shine, instead of getting lost in the rest of the eye makeup.

If you’re going for a fuller face of makeup with bolder eyeshadow and/or eyeliner, we’d recommend a fuller lash, like the 07 or 08 lashes.
